The following profiles illustrate the depth of experience of the practice directors of Cornwell Management Consultants plc.

Bob Axton - Director for Defence. Bob is an experienced Management Consultant with a broad knowledge of IT and business management.  He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and a Chartered Management Consultant.  After service in the Royal Signals, Bob has built up 18 years of consulting and management experience gained as the Public Sector Director at Admiral Computing Limited, Defence Practice Leader at IBM, and most recently with Cornwell.  He has a very clear understanding of the business drivers in the Defence Sector and the broader Public Sector, and a record of delivering pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to the challenges those drivers present.
John Douglas - Technology Director. John has 25 years' experience in the IT industry developing, implementing and managing systems. His primary areas of experience are in IT strategy and architectures, methodologies, standards and telecommunications. He worked as a Principal consultant for Ernst & Young in both public and private sectors, as well as with academic institutions.
Marc Fresko - EDM & ERM Consulting Services Director. Marc is a highly experienced consultant, having provided consultancy and advice since 1979. Since 1992, he has specialised solely in electronic document management and electronic records management. He is recognised as a thought leader on electronic document and records management (EDRM); he has contributed significantly to the de facto standard for EDRM in the public sector, the “Functional Requirements for ERMS” published by The National Archives (then the Public Record Office); and was the project leader and architect of the European Commission’s “MoReq” Specification (Model Requirements for ERM Systems).
Fariba Hozhabrafkan - Enterprise Architecture Consulting Services Director. Fariba is a thought leader and professional systems engineer with over 19 years experience working for IBM, THALES and Hughes through all phases of private sector and government project lifecycles. Fariba specialises in International Defence Procurement Practices, Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Service Oriented Architecture, where she is recognised as a thought leader on the development and implementation of EA Frameworks nationally and internationally. Fariba is accustomed to working at the strategic and decision making level and has an effective international network of professionals and decision makers in the area of Complex System Acquisition. She is also an influential leader in the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), holding the position of International Ambassador.
Jeremy Leach - Managing Director Jeremy is one of the key strategic thinkers and drivers of major change in the UK public sector. He has built a first-class strategic reputation by managing large-scale, complex change within public sector flagship programmes for HMRC, IR and DWP. His private sector strategy work is of a similar scale with a host of blue-chip organisations including AstraZeneca, BSkyB, BP and Shell. Jeremy is part of the senior leadership team of Serco Consulting with particular responsibility for the strategic direction of the company.
Bernie Levins - Director for Financial Services. Bernie has 20 years' commercial experience mostly gained in the delivery of consultancy assignments in areas such as aligning IT and business strategy, change management, business process design, project management, and implementation of IT best practices. He has a wide range of management experience which includes business planning, staff management, and sales and marketing. As a consultant and client director he has worked with several dozen organisations, mainly large-scale financial and commercial enterprises, in the UK, Europe, USA and South East Asia.
Keith Newton - Director for Health. Keith has 14 years of Management Consultancy experience, leading assignments in Strategic Planning, Change Management, Business Process Re-Engineering and IS Strategy, with both public and private sector organisations. His previous career included work with PA and Ernst & Young, as well as lecturing on Corporate Planning and Business Policy within the Management School of Lancaster University.
John O'Halloran - Local Services Director. John has thirty years experience in consultancy and management posts in Local Government, Central Government and the private sector.  His initial grounding in the public sector was obtained in a number of posts in Committee administration and the Chief Executive’s Department of Derby City Council.  Subsequently, as a team leader in the Management Effectiveness Unit at Birmingham City Council he was responsible directly to the Chief Executive.  At Price Waterhouse John worked as the principal senior manager in the local government practice undertaking a very large number of assignments in all types of authorities including County Councils, Metropolitan Boroughs, London Boroughs, District Councils and Unitary Authorities.
Andy Proudfoot - Director for Central Government. Andy is an experienced consultant and practice manager.  After qualifying as a CIPFA accountant in local government, he moved into consultancy with KPMG in 1987, helping to grow their government practice and latterly taking the role of public sector Group Manager in the South-east.  He moved to Capita as Managing Director of their consultancy operation in 1992, before joining BDO Stoy Hayward's public sector consulting practice two years later.  He and a colleague conducted an MBO of the practice in 1996, which was later rebranded as vantagepoint.  The company was sold to a publicly quoted engineering company in 2000, and Andy stayed as Managing Director for two years.
Angus Watson - Finance Director. Angus is an ACA who qualified with Grant Thornton in London in 1986. After leaving the profession in 1988 he worked for IMS Health Inc for fourteen years where he became CFO, Europe and Global Services. Angus has also held senior financial positions in Hemscott plc and Aegis Defence Services Limited.
